How to Reach Stade de France in Saint-Denis - Euro 2016 Guide

The much popular Stade de France is situated in the Parisian suburb Saint-Denis that is approximately 3 kilometers north of the city limits of Paris, 8 kilometers from the Louvre museum and not more than 5 kilometers north of Montmartre. The best part is that the Stade de France is a Public Transport Destination and it is highly recommended that anyone coming to an event during the EURO 2016 uses public transport. Here is quick guide on Getting to Stade de France in minimum time possible and with utmost convenience.

Using Public Transport
RER (Suburban train) B: La Plaine Stade de France station

  • 4 mins from Gare du Nord and 8 mins from Chatterley
  • Train in every 3 mins
  • Last train at 12:41 am

RER (Suburban train) D: Stade de France - St Denis station

  • 5 mins from Gare du Nord and 9 mins from Châtelet
  • Train in every 6 mins
  • Last train at 12:31 am

Underground line 13: St Denis - Porte de Paris station

  • 16 mins from Saint-Lazare station, 20 mins from Invalides and 25 mins from Montparnasse
  • Train in every 3 mins
  • Last train at 1:40 am on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 12:40 am on other days
  • By Car

When coming by car, it is important about getting to the stadium and its car parks as no parking tickets will be sold on the events day. One must purchase tickets well in advance on the website of the stadium i.e. http://www.stadefrance.com/en

Do note that on any event day, access to Stade de France is restricted and only authorized vehicles are allowed to park. The car parks open from 8 am to 1 am for evening events, and from 8 am to 9 pm for matinees. Some suggested car parks for each gate include:

  • Gates N, R, S, T, U, X, Y = P1
  • Gates H, J, K, L, N, R = P2
  • Gates Z, A, B, C, D, E, G, H, J, K = P3 


By Bike or Motorcycle
Motorcycle parking’s are available at the price of a car for the covered parking, and for free outside the stadium. Free spots are available in the street:

  • Esplanade de l'Ecluse
  • Near P4 parking (south of the Stadium, on Rue El Ouafi, facing P4)
  • Rue Henri Delaunay
