Best Hidden Beaches in Mexico

Whether you wish to lie on the white sands of a beach, relax and sunbathe, snorkel around corals or simply take a dip into cool and clear waters, the glittering beaches of Mexico have it all for you. Moreover, the destination is crammed full of many undiscovered beaches that are delightful hideaways and where tourists haven’t yet eclipsed the local culture. Todos Santos

The creative and artist colony of Todos Santos is a surfer’s haven and all thanks to the pacific breezes that stirs up rough and tumbling waves. This secluded beach of Mexico is much cooler in both, temperature and temperament in comparison with other beaches in the region. The surrounding area is dotted with beautiful galleries and lively cafés, and thus remains a favorite spot of the creative expats. Some of the nearby resorts like Rancho Pescadero even allow complimentary use of surfboards, boogie boards, and bicycles.

A peaceful town on the Sea of Cortes in Baja California Sur, Mulegé is a super friendly destination and a perfect base for exploring the Bahia Concepción. The beach is amongst some of the largest bays in Mexico and has some beautiful white sand beaches with very little tourist amenities. The azure water off the beach is warm and calm, just perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and other water activities to explore the incredible bay.

Approximately 7 miles off the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula is the beautiful island of Holbox that is counted amongst some of the best beaches in world. Stretching over 42 km, this island is undoubtedly a retreat for the visitors who wish to enjoy some peaceful time. This extremely remote beach does not house any high-rise hotel rather people will only find rustic palapas along the island's gorgeous beaches.
