Three homegrown outer-borough talents — the rappers Nas, Fabolous and Talib Kweli — will headline the 12th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, which will take place on July 13-16. This exciting four-day carnival will feature a wide assortment of music, dance, films and photography sessions along with a plethora of debates and panel discussions. The most important event will feature the three rappers as well as Rapsody and the D.J. Rob Swift and will be held on July 16th in the Brooklyn Bridge Plaza. The BHF 2016 alike every year will reflect the Hip-Hop culture, which spans music, film, academics, grassroots empowerment.

Screenings of documentaries, shorts and old school films to promote the budding talent of various regions along with introduction of Master Classes.
July 15th (Juice Hip Hop Exhibition)
Performance of dancers, beat makers, sneaker-heads, deejays and visual/graffiti artists in order to showcase their skills.
July 16th (The Big Show)
The year’s top performances will feature Nas, Fabolous, Rapsody, Talib Kweli, DJ Rob Swift, and many more.

This annual event produced by Brooklyn Bodega, Inc. in collaboration with the Bodega Agency gives fans four days of every essential element of entertainment including beats, rhymes, film, photography, DJs, b-boys and b-girls, food and fashion. This year’s house DJ for the event will be Rob Swift, who will perform with Uncle Ralph McDaniels (co-creator of Video Music Box) and Torae. The hip-hop festival was initially founded by Wes Jackson and has featured celebrities like Common, Q-Tip, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar.
