Sushi is an all time favorite on Cruises and many of us have tried it on board, but there is something that makes the Bonsai Sushi truly exceptional. The Bonsai Sushi on Carnival Cruises has been reviewed by many as favorite and here’s a list of 5 reasons why.

The Ambience

The décor of the Bonsai Sushi is characterized by fine sitting dining arrangements surrounded by nicely pruned Bonsai Trees on board. The place follows the art of Japanese Minimalism, blending it in interior décor in terms of warm golden lamps, wooden furniture and colorful Koi Kites. The calm Zen like ambience, combined with clay pottery and food mats, speck clean environment and the rich polished décor makes for it a fine dining experience.

The Food Platter

Food at Bonsai is simply of top notch quality, besides being wide in variety and affordable on pockets. From their complimentary Miso Soup to the Tuna flavored Sushi Rolls, Bonsai serves up a wide variety of delicacy at affordable prices. But that doesn’t compromise with the taste, as the flavors of all dishes are achieved to perfection using the traditions of the cuisine. A glimpse of the menu would show that at Bonsai one gets Appetizers, soups and salads for $2-$3 each and rolls at $4-$6, with larger rolls priced at $15-$25 eah.

The Must Haves

The Miso Soup and the Spicy Tuna Sushi Roll are the best highlights of the Bonsai Menu, being an all time favorite among patrons. But apart from them there are really tasty delicacies that include The Tempura Roll, Bonsai Tripe E-Roll and Bucs Roll all blended with interesting flavors and equipments serving up to savor the taste buds. Also each table at Bonsai receives a handful of Edamame as complimentary. Also portions served are very generous and really fills in for a wholesome meal.

The Cutlery

Although Bonsai incorporates the Japanese traditions, they are warm and welcoming to tourists from all across the world. And as special note to their hospitality, they have introduced the indigenous Chork, which is a combination of Japanese Chopsticks and the basic fork. And not only does Chork enhance your eating experience, but can also serve as a learning tool with chopsticks for kids. The effort for the amazing discovery is really commendable and appealing.

Bonsai Sushi is one of the add on experience services on the Carnival Cruise, tucked nicely on the Promenade Deck 5, with its beautiful Bonsai décor attracting tourists. And even though it is an add on service, the food and the interior décor is really worth visiting the Bonsai.
